How to restore the most important relationship

To understand how we can restore the most important relationship, we have to go back to the beginning.

Genesis is the book of beginnings and it tells us how God made everything just perfect in chapters 1 & 2. Then that perfect relationship between God and man was broken by sin in chapter 3.
But what you must remember is that nothing takes God by surprise. The plan was already in place. God's Son, Jesus, would die to restore that broken relationship.

  • Do you wan't to restore that broken relationship with God?

  • Do you wan't to know forgiveness for the wrong things in your life (sin)?

  • Do you wan't to know God as a Father, one who not only loves you, but cares for you. One who promises never to leave you or turn his back on you (Hebrews 13:5)?

  • Do you wan't to spend eternity (for ever and ever) in His presence?

If you have answered yes to the questions above then you must understand and do the following.

[Reading the Bible verses shown is very important. You can do that by clicking on them, if you do not have a Bible at hand. To return to this page simply press "back" on your browser.]

Believe that there is one God the creator of all things (see bible verses). That He is Holy (perfect, pure) and Just (will always judge correctly) and will punish sin.
Believe that Jesus is the Son of God. That He lived a perfect life (see bible verses) on this earth and died on a cross to pay the price for your sins (John 3:16).
Believe that Jesus rose again from the dead and is now in Heaven with his father God (1 Corinthians 15:3-8).
Believe that there is no other way to be right with God except by faith alone in Jesus alone (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:8-9).
You must be willing to make Jesus number one in your life (Lord) and to live for him, following His teachings as contained in the Bible (1 John 2:3-6).
Remember God loves you so much he gave his son for you (Romans 5:8).

Now tell God you are sorry for the sin in your life, asking Him to forgive you (1 John 1:9).
Invite Jesus into your life by His Holy Spirit to change you and be your Lord (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Reading God's word the Bible and praying to God every day will help you live the Christian life (Colosians 1:9-14).
Finding a Bible believing church and meeting with other Christians will also be of great help.
Tell others of God's love and the difference He has made in your life (Romans 10:9).
